PERSHA G. CAMPBELL Was born and raised on beautiful St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.
After high school she traveled to South Carolina
to attend Benedict College on an athletic and academic scholarship. She studied Therapeutic Recreation while playing volleyball,
softball and basketball. She also carried the title of Miss Home Coming and Miss Benedict College Queen 1999-2000. She then went on to graduate school at Indiana University, Bloomington, where
she continued her studies in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Behavior and obtained her Master’s Degree.
Currently she is the Director of Expressive Therapies, treating at-risk youths at a behavioral
and mental health facility in Maryland.
She has always been the
creative type. She loves trying new things and challenging herself. She finds joy in working with her hands and feeling the
satisfaction of the finished product.
She started out beading just as a hobby, then realized she could turn her passion
of beading into a business.
And so...beadyfulthings.com was developed.
Thank you very much for your support in this beadyful endeavor!
